“This spinach-banana and peanut butter smoothie is as healthy as it is genuinely delicious and sweet.”
Hey fellas! Welcome back to my blog. I know it’s been a while since I posted my last recipe which was Ricotta Strawberry Parfait and since then, I’ve been experimenting for my next post. Let me tell you what’s cooking!
So here’s my routine for the last 6 days:
Lately, I’ve been very detached from my kitchen and my computer because I’ve been VERY engaged. I’ve been incessantly working, to the extent that I couldn’t turn on my desktop and check what’s going on in the world. That’s how busy I am. I know that you won’t be really interested about what happened for the last 2 weeks, BUT i just want to share it with you guys.
First, I wake up not so early in the morning and get ready for work (that includes ironing my clothes). Next, I prepare breakfast as fast as I can. Smoothies have become my greatest ally. Then off to WORK WORK WORK WORK. After eight hours of tworking, i mean, working, i go back home and prepare dinner. Last, I spend an hour watching my favorite German series. SLEEP. DREAM. REPEAT. Quite a routine huh?!
To top it all off, I took a relaxing city break with my Aunt Agnes who I have not seen for over four years. She flew all the way from Doha, Qatar to meet me in Münich, Germany. What do you do when you meet your Tita in Germany? Yes, you chug down unlimited German beer! Yikes! But we were not done yet. We planned to go to Salzburg, Austria to experience the Sound of Music tour. Unfortunately, the weather did not favor us then, so we stayed home instead. It was relatively a short visit but with the hectic schedule I have, I guess I deserved that break. Everybody does.
So that’s the reason why I’ve been so preoccupied lately!
Now let’s go on to the main subject. I wanna talk about this insanely delicious spinach-banana and peanut butter smoothie, which I positively believe would be your next smoothie favorite! Don’t forget to pin that one and have it on your to-make list.
Spinach-Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie.
In times like this, when I don’t really have the abundance of time to prepare a sumptuous hash of a meal, I always thank my nutritional extractor which gives me the quickest smoothie breakfast that you can ever imagine.
I’ve been so addicted to smoothies lately. Who wouldn’t love such an amazing drink? I mean, you get your fruits, oatmeal, milk, yogurt, ALL IN ONE PLACE. Just one press and Voila!
Deliciousness in a snap!
Today’s blend is just like the other recipes: simple and healthy, but also YUMMIER. And what makes this recipe more interesting is that I mixed my greens with a spoonful of peanut butter. Yesss!! Adding some nutty flavah in your smoothie is something that YOU SHOULD NOT MISS. Like what i said earlier, smoothies are one of the most flexible breakfast drinks that you can ever have.
When my childhood friend Jennibeth (who currently lives in Iceland) told me to try out spinach with peanut butter, I was like, WHAT?? you gotta be kidding me right? But I took the challenge and tried it. Behold, I was blown away.
With a splash of my favorite vanilla soya milk, this spinach-banana and peanut butter smoothie has just made it to the top of my list.
